MULTIMEDIA AUSTRALIA ACQUIRES HIXUS SOFTWARE

BRISBANE, QLD (06 June 2005) - Multimedia Australia today announced its acquisition of Hixus Software (http://www.hixus.com).

Hixus Software has been a publisher of Web design and development tools since 2003.

The acquisition expands Multimedia Australia's already prominent reach in the Web design and development software market.

Hixus customers will benefit from the acquisition by enjoying free access to Multimedia Australia's renowned technical support and customer service initiatives.

Multimedia Australia plans to make several additional software products available under the Hixus brand over coming months. Some of these software products are planned to be available to online users free of charge.

Updates for many existing Hixus software products will also be offered as part of Multimedia Australia's commitment to ensuring that customers can keep up-to-date with ever changing technology.
